1. List each "not-this-but-that".  Why is Paul saying these things?

3. What can we do to disarm skeptics and slanderers?

Ministry

1. What was Paul's motive?
2. How did his motive affect what he said, how he acted?
3. What is the difference between a mothers and a father's role?
4. How well did your family reflect these ideal roles?
   How well does your church reflect these several roles?
   Your own ministry?
5. Who do you long to see?

God's Word at Work

1.  How do you know God's word is at work? (v13)
2. What is the sin that brings ultimate wrath?  Who is behind this sin?
